Project Manager Vienna - full-time

As our Project Manager, you will be in charge of coordinating the creation of exciting content for our international and local communication channels, both online and offline. You will manage a team of creatives and you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of various projects across the organization. You´ll be working with the marketing team in Vienna and worldwide. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an affinity for arts, content creation and wishes to work in a multicultural environment, with a large community of creative individuals.

Lomography is a globally active organization dedicated to experimental and creative analogue photography. Originally established in 1992 by a group of offbeat students as an arts movement, but fuelled by fiery passion and burning curiosity, the Lomographic Society soon grew into an international venture.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines
  • Develop and communicate detailed project plans, including task breakdowns and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks and proactively suggest solutions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead a small team of creatives (designers, photographers, videographers), lead brainstorms and facilitate communication
  • Coordinate and collect the execution of photography, design and copy tasks for product launches and dedicated campaigns
  • Manage the schedule of newsletters, website projects and print materials.
  • Upkeeping of the photo archive worldwide
Requirements
  • Fluent in English
  • Educational background in Project Management/Management/Marketing/Communication/Arts Management or similar
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Extremely organized, ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and hardworking
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Affinity for art, design and culture
  • Good research skills
  • Basic analogue photography experience is a plus
  • Familiar with Office pack, some basics with Photoshop or any photo editing tools/apps are a plus

Employment
  • Full-time
  • Start date: July – September 2023
  • According to collective agreement this position will be paid with a minimum gross salary of 14 × EUR 1.945 a year, including social benefits, plus employee benefit fund deposits. Depending on qualifications and experience, overpayment is of course possible.
